Neoteric Hovercraft is no ordinary hovercraft company. Founded by cadet members of the Australian Air Training Corps in 1960 and incorporated in 1969, Neoteric has stood the test of time with our experience and professionalism, while countless others have come and gone. Our objective is to innovate and produce technically unchallenged light hovercraft.
Presently the company supplies hovercraft, pilot training, maintenance support, parts and spares supplies. All of high quality to a worldwide clientele.
The Neoteric story from then until now can be seen by clicking on the image at left.
It has been quite a story so do take a look!
Today, Neoteric boasts a clientele that spans 50 countries and includes Disney World, local and national rescue departments, dive teams, gold mines, environmental and fishery research departments at universities, oil-spill clean-up, the US Army Corps of Engineers and, of course, numerous people who enjoy exploring remote areas that cannot be reached by any other means!
Having logged more than 145,000 man-hours of product development, their engineers are committed to constant refinement to provide the most up to date hovercraft technology.
The core product is the Hovertrek, a craft available in 4 and 6 seat versions.
In addition Neoteric now also own Hovertechnics who have a range of hovercraft up to the 6.7 metre, V8 powered Hovertour 2000. Details of the current ranges and quick links to the company sites and models are given at the bottom of this page.
